Indications and Uses: Preservation and protection of organs (heart, kidney, liver, etc.) for transplantation.

This solution, by reducing cellular metabolism and creating protective conditions against ischemia, prevents cellular damage and necrosis during the harvesting, transportation, and transplantation of organs.

Cardioplegia in open-heart surgery: Used to arrest cardiac function during surgery in order to protect the myocardium from ischemic injury.

Enhancing functional survival of organs and minimizing complications due to local ischemia during surgery or transplantation of the grafted organ.

Administration: Custo-Graft^® solution is administered by direct injection into the vessels of the target organ (Cardioplegia / Organ Flushing). For maximum efficacy, the organ should be immediately immersed in a cold solution (2–8°C) after harvesting. The volume of the solution and the duration of perfusion are determined based on the type and size of the organ, as well as the protocols of the center and the surgeon.
